FAQ
  • What should I do if I need to cancel a lesson?
    • If the lesson is being cancelled due to illness but the student is well enough to participate in an online lesson, simply email me to let me know.  If you need to cancel a lesson for any reason you can go onto the website, select the lesson and click "cancel attendance".  If this is done 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson and your child is a private student,  you will receive a makeup credit.  If it is not, the lesson is forfeit.  MYC students will be sent written instructions via email and the homework will be posted online.
  • How do I use my makeup credit?
    • To book a make up class you can go to the website, choose a makeup lesson and click "Register".  You can also do this from the main page under "make up credits".
  • I have a makeup credit but it won't let me book the lesson!
    • Most likely you have a makeup credit for 30 minutes and you are trying to book a 45 minute lesson, or vice versa.  If this is the case, you can contact me via email and she will book it on your behalf.
  • What happens to our lesson if school is cancelled?
    • I will always keep the studio open, unless there is a power outage.  If that is the case, I will send out an email as soon as possible, so please check your email before class.  If you do not wish to come in for your lesson, I will gladly Facetime or Skype our lesson for private students and record a video or send written instruction for MYC students. Please let me know in advance so I can prepare.
  • When and how is the best way to get in contact with me?
    • Office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-3 pm.  The best way to reach me is via email.  Alternatively, if you wish to call you are welcome to do that during the listed office hour times.
  • My child is struggling with practice, HELP!!!
    • This is very normal.  If you would like some practice suggestions, please feel free to email or to leave a note in your child's homework.
  • What is your favourite dinosaur?
